Starting Up With HackerGuardian Daily Scanning Service.
The document explains how to start working with Daily Scanning Service.
1. Log In To HackerGuardian Daily Scanning Service:
First step in configuring the Daily Scanning Service is to log into the online interface at http://www.hackerguardian.com . Enter the username and password you created during sign up in the 'Secure Account Login' box.

Next, you need to tell HackerGuardian which domain you want to scan. Select in the Daily Scanning section of the interface and click on 'Set Options' button against the needed domain (as shown below).

2. Configure Domains
The area is where you tell us which domain (website) you would like run the Daily Scanning service on. More ...

- Daily Scan Service - Make sure this box is checked
- Domain for daily scanning - Please enter details using the form yourdomain.com
- Web server port - The default setting is the standard ports of 80 or 443. If you know your webserver is running on different port, please type it here.
Once you finished click Save. This will automatically submit these details to Comodo to begin stage 3 of the process, Validation.
3. Validation
Before we can commence vulnerability scanning we need to validate your ownership of the domain.
It is essential business practice of Comodo to fully validate your application. For businesses we will require a copy of your articles of incorporation, business license or DUNS number. If you haven't done so already, please supply this documentation to docs@comodogroup.com stating your HackerGuardian order number within the email.

4. View Report
To view the result of scanning process press View Report. If scanning completed successfully it will be checked with

If your server did not pass the vulnerability scan then you should use the information and risk mitigation advice contained in the report to resolve the identified problems. Your webserver will be scanned again in 24 hours. To view status of the daily service, click on the Site Check Status option. More ...
